Two things to do every day to sell more
The company that does not focus on its sales will in the long term not exist anymore. Attracting new customers, developing and retaining existing customers must be something that is always on the agenda. It’s not that only the sellers of the company are going to work on sales but more so something everyone has to contribute more or less. There are a variety of things everyone can contribute with, but two things stand out. These two can all be a natural part of their work, yet still help increase sales across the company.
Sales are more and more about trust. Customers choose a product or service to a large extent based on trust in the supplier. Confidence exists to some extent in the brand and the company itself, but more and more the trust is made in specific individuals working inside the company. This means that trust is being built or erased as soon as a customer or potential customer comes into contact with the company.
And everyone in a company does things that ultimately affect the customer. Are you working on the warehouse, you are responsible for ensuring that your delivery to the customer is correct and comes in time, if you are working on economics, you send invoices, work on HR, recruit and educate those who meet the customer.
Everyone thus has a responsibility for and can affect the confidence of potential and existing customers. Confidence will lead to more new business and your customers stay longer and buy more.
Build your network
For anyone who works with sales, it’s important that you always build your network, but this is just as important for everyone within the organization to do as well. If all the managers of your company are looking to build relationships with the managers of your existing and prospective customers, it can help enormously in sales. If everybody makes sure to build relationships with your customers, it will help keep customers longer.
Imagine when your warehouse staff know the warehouse staff of the customer. How easy is it then to improve and deepen cooperation? So help everyone on the company to build networks with your existing and potential customers.
If you are all at your company to always work on the above things, it will facilitate new sales and existing customers will buy more and stay longer. Increased sales and increased profits simply!
If you get everyone at your company to work with the things listed above, it will help you with sales, and it will also result in your current customers buying more from you. Increased sales and profits!
